Greek market in line to become successful for Avincis
Two AW139s have been deployed to Greece and began operations on 26 July. Based in Rhodes, they have since been providing rapid-response HEMS coverage across both the mainland and surrounding islands.
Avincis are calling this a landmark moment.

Avincis has launched its first operations in Greece, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued expansion across Europe. With the addition of Greece, Avincis now operates in nine countries worldwide, with more than 2,400 employees.

In partnership with local operator AK Aviation Support Services, Avincis will deliver HEMS on behalf of the Greek Ministry of Health (EKAV), with financial and institutional support from the National Bank of Greece.

Two AW139 helicopters have been deployed to Greece and began operations on 26 July. Based in Rhodes, they have since been providing rapid-response HEMS coverage across both the mainland and surrounding islands.
