AEG Fuels has been registered with the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) as a local trip support provider, enabling it to give instant landing permit approvals for its clients travelling into Dubai.

“This latest achievement is a great asset operationally for our customers coming into Dubai,” says Issa Zuriqi, director, sales and business development for the Middle East and Africa at AEG Fuels. “We know that time is critical in the aviation industry and having shorter wait times and a streamlined process when travelling to and through the UAE is a huge benefit to operators.”

Unregistered operators typically face a two to three day wait for landing permission. The DCAA has been streamlining the approval process at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), allowing for faster procedures. Through its partnership with the authority, AEG has completed all administrative requirements to expedite approvals at these locations, a significant advantage given high flight volumes in the region.

AEG has implemented similar fast-track approval capabilities in other countries in the region. Its global trip planning team operates around the clock, delivering personalised services supported by a partnership with Boeing Jeppesen to monitor vital travel information. “This allows us to offer tailored solutions to clients for all their trip requirements and provide a seamless experience wherever their travel takes them,” adds Zuriqi.
