Diamond Flying Club marks global launch with Oshkosh event
Over 100 guests attended the first 'Diamond Night' celebration, which brought together pilots, operators and partners from around the world.

The Diamond Flying Club held its first global gathering during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025, the world’s largest general aviation event. Held lakeside at sunset, ‘Diamond Night’ welcomed more than 100 Diamond aircraft owners, pilots, operators, enthusiasts and international partners.

Founded in May 2025, the DFC aims to build an exclusive flying community for Diamond aircraft users worldwide. The event was described as a significant milestone in strengthening the Diamond community.

Diamond Aircraft Canada general manager Kevin Sheng opened with a speech highlighting the club's mission to support global flying dreams. Matt Taylor of Middle Tennessee State University shared operational insights, while Diamond Pilots Association VP Paul Koch praised the club's development.

DA62 owner Rene Amstrup recounted his family's around-the-world flight, showcasing the aircraft's reliability. The evening ended with a raffle and Q&A, with guests winning aviation-themed prizes including headsets, wall art and pilot watches.

The club plans to continue holding global events to further unite and inspire the Diamond network.
