Garmin adds 12.1-inch touchscreen to TXi display range
Pilots will gain access to clearer visuals and greater screen functionality through the larger-format TXi, due to launch in Q3 2025.
The 12.1-inch TXi matches existing panel widths despite its larger display area.

Garmin has expanded its TXi family of flight displays with the introduction of a 12.1-inch variant. The larger format offers a 33% increase in active screen area compared to the existing 10.6-inch unit, while retaining the same panel width due to its thin bezel design.

The display is available in both black and grey, and integrates with the GTN Xi navigator family to support consistent panel aesthetics. It can be configured for PFD, MFD or PFD/MFD use, and includes an optional engine indication system (EIS) strip.

Larger indicators and touchpoints are designed to improve readability and interaction. The new screen enables greater vertical map visibility and chart area without altering existing layout structures. Dual-core processing powers fast zooming and panning, while controls can be managed via touchscreen or familiar knobs.

As with other TXi models, the unit replaces mechanical gyros with digital solid-state AHRS sensors, reducing weight and lifecycle costs. It supports Garmin and select third-party integrations, with broader engine, fuel and electrical parameter monitoring aimed at improving aircraft efficiency.

Availability is scheduled for Q3 2025 via Garmin dealers. The TXi series comes with a two-year warranty and access to round-the-clock global technical support.
