Elevate Jet has been awarded certified air carrier capabilities by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to operate large aircraft such as the ACJ, Embraer Lineage 1000 and BBJ.

The certification allows Elevate Jet to engage in a broader range of commercial activities including large aircraft operations for management, demonstration flights, structured leasing opportunities and more – all capabilities critical to supporting the company’s efforts in representing and marketing VIP airliners.

Reid Oslin, VP strategic accounts at Elevate Aviation, states: “These aircraft are in increasing demand in the US charter space. For decades we have specialised in curating trips for a variety of highly discerning clientele such as the best names in music and entertainment, executives and founders, and presidential campaigns; each able to benefit from the large aircraft placements soon to be available with the growing Elevate Jet fleet.”

“We look forward to supporting these unique assets and expanding our world-class management platform,” adds Randy McKinney, president and CFO of Elevate Aviation Group. “This additional authorisation further expands our immense capabilities in long-range, international and large group charter. We placed high value on this process and the DOT’s comprehensive review for fit, willing and able to conduct commercial operations. With Elevate Aviation’s 30 years of exceptional operations guiding us, we are proud to display our managerial expertise, economic strength and compliance record.”

Chadi Saade, president of Airbus Corporate Jets concludes: “We at Airbus Corporate Jets are thrilled to see Elevate Jet achieve this critical certification for large aircraft. This is a significant development for the US market, which represents a key growth region for ACJ. We look forward to supporting Elevate Jet as it expands its high-performance services for corporate and private customers.”
