ExecuJet handles three Falcons at once in Sydney hangar
Heavy checks on 2000EX EASy, 900EX and 900EX EASy took place in parallel for the first time in the company's history.
ExecuJet’s Falcon maintenance volume in Australia is projected to accounted for 20 per cent of its total business next year.

ExecuJet MRO Services Australia has carried out simultaneous heavy maintenance on three Dassault Falcon aircraft at its Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport facility. It is the first time the company has handled this number of Falcons at once.

The aircraft involved included a New Zealand-registered Falcon 2000EX EASy, an Australian-registered Falcon 900EX and a foreign-registered Falcon 900EX EASy. Each underwent scheduled airframe heavy maintenance checks. The 2000EX EASy is also being repainted, while the 900EX was in for an out-of-phase check. The 900EX EASy is receiving a 36-month inspection along with Honeywell TFE731-60 engine component replacement. ExecuJet is a Honeywell authorised service centre.

“This is the first time we've had three Falcons in the hangar at once undergoing airframe heavy maintenance checks,” says Grant Ingall, regional vice president, ExecuJet MRO Services Australia. “It shows that ExecuJet is the preferred MRO service provider for Falcon operators, and it highlights the growing Falcon footprint across Australasia and the Pacific.”

Falcon maintenance made up virtually none of ExecuJet Australia’s business before Dassault’s 2019 acquisition, but now accounts for 15 per cent and is projected to reach 20 per cent next year. More than 120 Falcon aircraft are currently based in Asia Pacific.
