US Aviation retains Wingman certification after April audit
The Tulsa-based company was assessed across operational history, maintenance, records and training requirements to meet the renewal criteria.
United States Aviation operates Black Hawk helicopters for heavy-lift missions and Gulfstream jets for long-range charter flights.

United States Aviation Company has renewed its Wyvern Wingman certification following a successful audit in April 2025. The designation confirms its compliance with internationally recognised safety standards and operating practices.

Founded in 1999 and based at Tulsa International Airport, the company provides aircraft charter and management, government contracting and Black Hawk helicopter operations. Wyvern’s Wingman standard assesses charter providers against industry best practices before services are procured.

Company president Roger Hardesty says: “The safety of our crew, passengers and the communities we fly in and out of every flight is mission essential to our core values. This programme is consistent with the level of expectation we have for our international flight operations department. This renewal demonstrates our ability to maintain the highest level of charter safety in the world. Brokers and passengers trust us with repeat business because they know the quality they are going to receive from our team.”

The audit covered operational activity, records, documentation, pilot qualifications and technician experience. Wyvern’s Andrew Day says the renewal “affirms its compliance with international safety standards and global professional practices in operations and maintenance.”
