Eve shares eVTOL progress and service updates
Eve presented its latest aircraft refinements, test programme milestones and support solutions at the Paris Air Show this June.
Flight tests are expected to begin this summer using conforming prototypes.

Eve Air Mobility used the Paris Air Show to showcase progress in its eVTOL programme, including design updates, testing developments and its TechCare support solution. The company is focusing on ground-based validation before flight testing begins this summer.

“Our rigorous test programme isn't about rushing to deadlines; it's about methodical precision that ultimately accelerates our certification path,” said CEO Johann Bordais. “By taking deliberate steps now, we're building a foundation for flawless execution to propel us forward with greater momentum and confidence when it matters most.”

CTO Luiz Valentini added: “Our approach is to ‘certify to fly, not fly to certify’. We understand the responsibility of pioneering a new era of flight and are focusing on exhaustive ground testing, leveraging Embraer's extensive experience in aircraft certification.”

Design refinements include a wheeled landing gear option to improve ground manoeuvrability, a lightweight full-flex cabin for passenger or cargo use, a patented four-blade lifter and pusher combination to reduce drag and noise, and a 15-metre modular wing designed for standard container shipping. The intuitive cockpit, developed with Garmin and Crouzet, uses a four-axis sidestick and Embraer’s fly-by-wire.

Eve also shared updates to TechCare, its integrated support service. “Our integrated approach with TechCare provides operators with peace of mind and simplifies the complexities of UAM operations, all with a single monthly fee,” said Luiz Mauad, vice president of customer services.

TechCare includes pilot training via Embraer-CAE Training Services, access to global maintenance through Embraer’s centres, spare parts supply and a battery exchange solution supported by BAE Systems. Vector, Eve’s traffic management tool, is now included under TechCare for a complete aftermarket offering.
