Equinox retains ARGUS certification after rigorous audit
The UK broker’s renewed status followed a thorough review of safety compliance, operator selection and charter operations by ARGUS International.

UK-based broker Equinox Charter has retained its status as an ARGUS Certified Broker following a comprehensive audit process. The ARGUS programme evaluates charter brokerages on their safety management, operator vetting, organisational structure and financial controls. Any audit findings must be resolved before certification is awarded.

ARGUS vice president of business aviation audit programmes Patrick Chiles says: “It is our pleasure to renew Equinox’s status as an ARGUS Certified Charter Broker. Its exacting attention to detail, safety, regulatory compliance, operator interfaces and customer service are all in keeping with the stringent ARGUS charter broker standard. We celebrate its demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, in particular its rigorous practices for sourcing and selecting the operators it works with. Congratulations to Elliot and the entire team at Equinox.”

Equinox managing director Elliot Bottomley adds: “We’re all very proud to have retained our ARGUS certification; the standards are rigorous, to say the least. During the audit, we were proud to introduce our growing charter operations team, including our newly appointed aviation safety and compliance manager, Garreth Horrocks. It was great to demonstrate our development, including our operations manual, improvement to our systems, in refining our due diligence and operator vetting processes and enhancing our training standards. We welcomed the thorough and collaborative nature of the ARGUS audit and look forward to continuing to build on this foundation ahead of our next renewal. Since launching just under four years ago, we’ve come a long way, and perhaps the greatest validation of that progress is the loyalty of our returning clients whom recognise and understand the effort we put into delivering safe, seamless charter operations.”

Operations manager Gio Manzella says: “At present, there’s an understandable nervousness in aviation surrounding safety. That’s why we view the ARGUS certification as more than just a mark of quality. For us, it’s a clear safeguard for our clients and passengers, offering reassurance that every operator, aircraft and crew we work with meets the highest standards of compliance. We enjoy working with ARGUS and IS-BAO accredited operators especially, providing our clients double assurance surrounding safety standards.”

Equinox Charter is a UK-based charter specialist serving the music, entertainment, film, sports and corporate sectors. It partners with Equinox Travel to offer end-to-end solutions including hotels, ground transport, commercial flights and cargo.
