Held on 4 June at Westchester Airport, the 2025 NBAA White Plains Regional Forum drew a record 3,300 attendees and more than 200 exhibitors. The sold-out event featured over 20 aircraft and showcased Beta Technologies’ Alia CX300 cTOL model immediately after its historic arrival at JFK as the first all-electric aircraft to land at a New York City area airport.
NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen says the forum “brought together a vibrant industry that is embracing new technologies, new business models and new ways of thinking as never before.”
NBAA board chair and Pfizer VP JD Witzig described business aviation as “a unique industry, where we combine profession with passion.” Million Air CEO Roger Woolsey highlighted the sector’s one million-plus U.S. jobs and multibillion-dollar output, adding “what you do is vitally important.”
Attendees also heard from local figures including Kenneth W. Jenkins, April Gasparri and Shawyn Patterson-Howard.
Jim Ando, a Clay Lacy maintenance specialist, was presented with the FAA Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award for 50 years of service.
Standing-room-only panels spanned topics from ATC modernisation to regional operations. Beta Technologies, Textron Aviation and Million Air leaders contributed to a session on aviation’s role in supporting communities. The policy landscape was addressed by NBAA’s Doug Carr alongside Harper Meyer and NATCA representatives.
The day closed with a student-focused careers panel moderated by NBAA’s Brittany Davies and featuring voices from MBBA, NYAMA and Signature HPN.
