New Zealand-based real-time tracking and communication solutions provider TracPlus has opened a permanent office in London, establishing its first base in Europe. The move forms part of the company’s global expansion to better support aerial firefighting partners in wildfire-prone regions.
As part of the growth, Atlanta Taylor has joined as account director and Harry Bickerton as account manager. Both will be based in London and focused on EMEA operations.
CEO John O'Hara says: “This is an exciting step for TracPlus as we continue to invest in the regions we serve. With a dedicated presence in London and new team members on the ground, we're better positioned to support our partners across EMEA, helping them operate more safely and effectively in the face of increasing wildfire threats.”
The London presence complements its Auckland headquarters, offering continuous regional coverage. Among its EMEA clients is Avincis, which recently partnered with TracPlus to modernise aerial mission coordination and tracking.
Taylor brings seven years’ aerospace and defence experience, focused on data-driven aerial emergency services. Bickerton returns from New Zealand with a background in sales, account management and commercial piloting.
The expansion follows the launch of the FireFlyte platform and a period of significant growth. In 2024, TracPlus supported over 332,000 aerial drops, processed 142 million reports, and tracked more than 170 million litres of suppressant. The company also recorded over 99 million kilometres flown and recently surpassed one billion datapoints collected.
O'Hara adds: “Strategic growth isn't just about scale, it's about delivering better support where and when it matters most. With our global expansion, new team members and ongoing platform advancements, we're building the foundation to help agencies and firefighters respond faster, operate more safely and tackle their toughest challenges confidently.”
