Qatar Executive renews Wingman status
The Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance against recognised industry best practices.
Gulfstream and Bombardier types abound in the Qatar Executive fleet.

Qatar Executive, the private jet charter division of the Qatar Airways Group, has secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman operator following a successful audit conducted by Wyvern.

The globally recognised Wyvern Wingman standard provides a safety benchmark that allows customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best practices before purchasing services. The scope of the evaluation includes a review and assessment of the organisation's compliance management system, internal evaluation programme, safety management system, human factors management, safety culture analysis, risk management policies, procedures and practices, emergency response plans and training programmes.

“We commend Qatar Executive for successfully renewing its Wingman certification, which validates its safety management system for international compliance, and verifies its conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance,” says Andrew Day, Wyvern senior vice president, operations. “As a Wingman operator, Qatar Executive reinforces its dedication to safety and operational integrity as well as strives for continuous improvement and safety innovation.”

Founded in 2009, Qatar Executive's fleet features six Gulfstream G700s, 15 Gulfstream G650ERs, two Bombardier Global 5000s and an Airbus A319CJ, all operated under a floating fleet concept. In addition to private jet charters, it offers aircraft management solutions, maintenance and FBO services from its base at Doha International Airport.
