Christine Aguilera named finalist for 2025 EY Entrepreneur award
The Angel MedFlight CEO has been recognised for innovation, patient care and company growth in fixed-wing air ambulance operations.
Aguilera has prioritised infrastructure investment and partnerships to support operational growth and care delivery.

Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance CEO and president Christine Aguilera has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Pacific Southwest Award. The programme is celebrating its 40th year and honours leaders of high-growth companies that are reshaping their industries.

An independent panel of judges selected Aguilera based on her purpose-driven leadership and dedication to innovation and patient-centred care. She leads the largest long-range fixed-wing air ambulance programme in the US, transporting patients to specialist care centres in all 50 states and over 40 countries.

“Being named a finalist is both a profound honour and a testament to the extraordinary efforts of the entire Angel MedFlight team,” said Aguilera. “Driven by our unwavering commitment to patient care and safety, we continually integrate new technology and equipment to ensure we are continuously improving. Putting integrity and patient care first naturally leads to growth because when healthcare partners trust our mission, we can help more families.”

Aguilera joined in 2020 and helped position the company for growth following the pandemic. Her background in building customer-focused organisations has driven record patient numbers to medical centres and rehabilitation hospitals.

“When Christine joined Angel MedFlight, she brought her business expertise and a fresh perspective,” said Kim Halloran, vice president of business development. “She helped us identify ways to streamline our processes and strengthen our relationships with healthcare partners around the world. Christine makes smart infrastructure investments to ensure we are equipped to deliver the responsive, high-quality care our patients deserve.”

Winners of the Pacific Southwest award will be named on 6 June in San Diego.
