CHC inks deal to bring SAR service to Namibia
CHC and Court are working together. The partnership is designed to support both offshore and onshore operations, ensuring safe and reliable personnel transport and emergency response services across the region.
CHC says that Court Helicopters' knowledge is second to none.

CHC Helicopter has signed an MoU with Namibian aviation operator and Titan Helicopters Group subsidiary Court Helicopters. The agreement outlines both parties' intent to explore a strategic collaboration for SAR and crew change solutions in Namibia.

Under the terms of the MoU, CHC will bring its global fleet and extensive operational expertise to the partnership. Court Helicopters will contribute its local knowledge, operational capabilities and established presence in Namibia.

The partnership is designed to support both offshore and onshore operations, ensuring safe and reliable personnel transport and emergency response services across the region.

“We are delighted to explore this opportunity with Court Helicopters, whose local knowledge and experience is second to none,” says Sonia Le Quilleuc, emerging markets commercial director at CHC. “CHC has decades of experience delivering complex search and rescue services in some of the world's most demanding environments, including long-term contracts across Norway, Ireland and Australia. We operate across multiple bases and aircraft types, and are proud to bring that depth of capability and proven track record to Namibia.”

Jide Adebayo, executive director of Court Helicopters, adds: “This MoU marks an exciting step forward for aviation services in Namibia. Partnering with CHC allows us to leverage its international experience and operational excellence to support vital industries in our region.”

This collaboration represents a commitment to innovation, safety and long-term investment in Namibia's aviation and energy landscape. Both companies will now work together to assess the potential for reliable and comprehensive joint operations and service delivery in line with national priorities and regulatory requirements.
