FAA bestows Part 145 rating on Jets MRO
Part 145 approval from the FAA covers powerplants for Citations, Hawkers, Learjets, Challenger 300 and 600 series jets, and BeechJet types. Jets MRO is now authorised to work on all of these types at Dallas Executive.
The milestone has been reached in record time.

Jets MRO, the business jet maintenance provider at Dallas Executive airport in Texas, has been granted its FAA Part 145 engine ratings, expanding its capabilities beyond its existing Part 145 repair station authorisations.

This new engine certification enables Jets to perform comprehensive engine maintenance and repair services in-house at its state-of-the-art facility. The approval covers powerplants for Citations, Hawkers, Learjets, Challenger 300 and 600 series jets, and BeechJet types.

“This engine certification represents a significant milestone in our growth strategy,” says Suresh V. Narayanan, chief executive officer of Jets MRO. “We can now provide our customers with truly comprehensive maintenance solutions, eliminating the need to outsource engine work and reducing aircraft downtime substantially.”

The engine certification process was completed efficiently due to Jets MRO's established quality management systems and the technical expertise of its team. This achievement comes just three months after Jets MRO received its initial FAA Part 145 certification in January 2025.

In addition to on-site engine services, Jets MRO's mobile maintenance capabilities now include engine diagnostic and limited repair services throughout the Dallas-Fort-Worth area, providing critical support for AOG (aircraft on ground) situations.
