Garmin named Supplier of the Year by Cirrus Aircraft
Garmin's avionics were praised for innovation, reliability and safety during Cirrus Aircraft’s annual supplier conference in Tennessee.
Garmin avionics have featured on every Cirrus aircraft delivered since the introduction of the SR20 in 1999.

Garmin has been named Supplier of the Year by Cirrus Aircraft during PX25, the company's annual supplier conference held on 26 February in Knoxville, Tennessee. Each year Cirrus recognises one supplier that demonstrates strong performance, innovation and collaboration, significantly supporting the company's goals.

“It is an honour to be recognised as the Supplier of the Year by Cirrus Aircraft. Garmin and Cirrus have a longstanding history of strong collaboration, and this esteemed award is a testament to Garmin's dedication and commitment to Cirrus and our mutual customers. We are truly grateful to receive this award, which celebrates the dedication of all of our associates and we look forward to continuing to serve Cirrus customers well into the future,” says Carl Wolf, Garmin vice president, aviation sales, marketing, programmes and support.

Garmin has provided avionics solutions for Cirrus Aircraft for over two decades, equipping every aircraft delivered since the SR20's debut in 1999. Both companies' focus on innovation led to the creation of Garmin’s Perspective Touch+ flight deck, used in the SF and SR aircraft models—two highly popular aircraft platforms. In 2020, Cirrus's Vision Jet became the first jet certified with Garmin Emergency Autoland.

“Congratulations to the entire team at Garmin for being awarded Cirrus Aircraft’s Supplier of the Year at PX25,” adds Steve Nelson, Cirrus Aircraft senior vice president, operations. “This well-deserved recognition highlights the exceptional collaboration between Cirrus and Garmin and the unwavering commitment we share to safety, quality and customer experience. Its dedication to innovative solutions, trusted performance and operational excellence are key aspects of our ongoing strategic relationship. We look forward to continuing the strong collaboration with Garmin in the years ahead.”
