World Fuel Services has launched its myWorld Decarbonise tool to streamline Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) purchases using Book and Claim. Available via the myWorld platform or by phone through the Global Fuel Logistics team, the tool allows users to calculate emissions from fuel burn and purchase SAF certificates (SAFc) to balance their carbon impact.

“The launch of the myWorld Decarbonise tool will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to decarbonise with SAF,” says Brad Hurwitz, senior vice president of supply and trading. “This tool supports our customers in their journey towards net zero emissions by making lower carbon options easy to buy.”

The tool uses a CORSIA lifecycle analysis approach to assess emissions. It enables carbon tracking, seamless SAFc purchase and provides education on Book and Claim, helping users make informed decisions about sustainability. It also explains carbon insets and how they differ from offsets.

World Fuel is a certified trader under several global SAF trading schemes. The tool will be on display at SDC2025 in New Orleans from 25–27 March.
