Global Medical Response has taken delivery of its first IFR-configured Bell 407GXi from Bell Textron. This marks the beginning of 24 anticipated aircraft deliveries to the US air medical service operator.

In November 2024, Bell announced the signed purchase agreement for 15 Bell 407GXis outfitted with IFR configuration kits with an option to purchase nine additional aircraft for Global Medical Response, bringing its total fleet to 250 Bell helicopters. With operations established in all 50 US states and internationally, Global Medical Response plans to use the new aircraft fleet to extend its reach even further.

Delivering impressive performance and fuel efficiency with the ability to cruise at 133 kts, the Bell 407GXi remains one of the top platforms for air medical agencies located throughout the world. With single-pilot IFR capability and adjustable cabin space, the Bell 407GXi allows operators to perform in demanding environments while carrying essential medical equipment needed during emergency missions.
