UK client selects IFR-ready Bell 407GXi
The Bell 407GXi allows operators to seamlessly perform in demanding environments while relying on its Garmin G1000H NXi flight deck, an all-glass avionic suite, as it relays critical safety information.
The aircraft will make a smart addition to the UK operator's fleet.

A customer in the UK has signed a purchase agreement with Bell Textron for an IFR-configured Bell 407GXi helicopter. This is the first time that the platform with an IFR configuration kit will be operated by a customer in the UK.

“Our team is honoured to celebrate this signing and expand our Bell 407GXi offerings to customers in the UK,” comments Robin Wendling, MD, Europe, Bell. “The Bell 407GXi has earned its name as a multi-mission workhorse, and we continue to see steady interest in the Bell 407GXi platform across the region.”

In addition to the aircraft order, Bell recently completed a demonstration tour with the platform in the UK, making stops at Lydd airport, Goodwood and High Wycombe.

“Combining its IFR capability with the platform's latest Designer Series interior offering, the Bell 407GXi provides customers with the ultimate VIP experience to suit their business needs,” continues Wendling.

Making its debut in 2025, Bell introduced its new luxury interior options for the Bell 407GXi as part of its Designer Series, a series of offerings that set new standards for Bell interiors. The Bell 407GXi allows operators to seamlessly perform in demanding environments while relying on its Garmin G1000H NXi flight deck, an all-glass avionic suite, as it relays critical safety information. The platform is favoured during various missions, including utility, SAR and emergency medical services.
