AeroMech has received a supplemental type certificate (STC) for installing Starlink high-speed internet on the Cessna Citation X and X+, providing operators with a new connectivity solution backed by Textron Aviation. The system uses Starlink’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network to deliver reliable internet access over land, water and remote areas.

AeroMech will supply the STC and PMA installation kits to approved Starlink installers and dealers, with its subsidiary AMI Aviation Services offering installations at its Orlando and Nashville-area facilities. Textron Aviation will also support installations at select North American and international service centres.

Textron Aviation knows customers are after connectivity solutions that elevate their in-flight experience and help them achieve their mission,” says Brian Rohloff, senior vice president, customer support. “Offering Starlink for the Cessna Citation X and X+ positions our customers to experience cutting-edge technology, providing them with one of the best possible in-flight connectivity and aviation experiences available today.”

AeroMech is now accepting orders for the Citation 750 Starlink STC equipment package, with installations available at AMI facilities. Textron Aviation’s global network will provide factory-direct support, ensuring seamless integration for Citation X and X+ operators seeking enhanced connectivity.
