Business Jet completes Starlink installation on Legacy 600
The private aviation company has completed the first ever Starlink installation on the Embraer Legacy 600 certification aircraft, with minimal structural modifications.
Business Jet is poised to accommodate any jet that is ready to upgrade its in-flight connectivity.

Business Jet, based at Dallas Love Field, has completed a Starlink satellite internet installation on the Embraer Legacy 600 certification aircraft. This marks the first Legacy 600 equipped with Starlink capabilities, further expanding the list of approved aircraft and increasing Starlink accessibility for more owners and operators.

Starlink is engineered and operated by SpaceX, and delivers satellite-based connectivity with speeds of 220+ Mbps for downloads and 25+ Mbps for uploads, supporting streaming, video calls and messaging. The installation process for the Legacy 600 required minimal structural modifications and followed a similar timeline compared to existing approved aircraft models.

Business Jet is honoured to participate in the certification process using one of our aircraft,” says CEO Chris Wright. “With additional installations lined up on various models, we appreciate Starlink’s commitment to streamlining this process and helping deliver satisfactory experiences to owners.”

As an authorised Starlink dealer and installer, Business Jet’s team of skilled technicians has experience installing Starlink's satellite broadband capabilities on various aircraft models and recommend scheduling an installation during an annual inspection or another major maintenance event. Supplemental Type Certificates are currently available for various Gulfstream and Bombardier models, with additional models such as the Challenger 300/350 expected to follow. Business Jet says it is poised to accommodate any jet that is ready to upgrade its in-flight connectivity.
