Falcon, a UAE business aviation service provider, plans to invest over USD 100 million by 2030 to further upgrade its facility at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai and add a new private jet terminal. By then, Al Maktoum is set to become the world's busiest hub with capacity for up to 260 million passengers.

Falcon Technic, the company's 13,705 sqm MRO facility, located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub in Dubai, is equipped with cutting-edge technology designed to service a wide range of aircraft, including models as large as the Airbus A380.

In 2024, the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) granted it CAR 145 approval to launching its MRO operations in the UAE. Falcon has also received a GCAA CAR Part V Chapter 3 (CAR 145) certificate as an Approved Maintenance Organisation. Aircraft types covered under the approval include Bombardier Challenger and Embraer.

Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, founder and chairman of Alex Group Investments, the parent company of Falcon, comments: “We are exceptionally pleased with the growth of Falcon Technic. Today, we employ more than 80 professionals at our MRO committed to delivering excellent services to our growing client base.”

Falcon has also recently announced plans to increase the fleet size of its private jet charter division, Falcon Luxe, to more than 50 aircraft by late 2026, including the Embraer Legacy 650 and Bombardier Challenger 850.

The Legacy 650 offers comfortable seating for up to 14 passengers in three spacious cabin zones and has a travelling range of up to 7,200km, while the Bombardier Challenger 850 features superior cabin volume, carrying up to 14 passengers in executive comfort for up to 5,200km.

“We are topping up our multi-million dollar investment in the Falcon private jet fleet with the aim of introducing cutting-edge cabin products on more of our aircraft,” states Rashit Al Shene. “This marks a significant step in ensuring more customers can consistently experience our premium private aviation products across a more modern and flexible fleet.”
