Canadian operator Sunwest Aviation Ltd. is expanding into central Canada with the acquisition of Jet-Share Canada Inc., a Toronto-based aircraft management and charter provider. Sunwest will continue to manage a Cessna Citation XLS based at Toronto Pearson International Airport and retains key local crew and maintenance staff.

The transition allows former Jet-Share customers to benefit from Sunwest’s experience, industry-safety culture and operational infrastructure, backed by ARGUS Platinum and IS-BAO Stage III certifications.

Sunset’s newest fleet addition, the Citation XLS, is expected to become available for charter in April 2025. With its range of 1,400 nautical miles, cruising speed of 400 knots and short-runway capabilities, the midsize business jet is well suited to both regional and North America travel. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Sunwest operates a fleet of aircraft ranging from the King Air 200 to the ultra-long-range Gulfstream G650ER, offering flexible aircraft charter and aircraft ownership solutions.
