HALO-Flight has installed GPMS International’s Foresight MX health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) on its Bell 407GXi, becoming the first helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) operator in the U.S. to adopt the technology. The installation was completed by Arrow Aviation Company on HALO-Flight’s newest fleet addition, N361HF, which is set to enter service by April 2025.
“At HALO-Flight, we are always looking for ways to enhance the safety and efficiency of our operations,” says CEO Travis Patterson. “Implementing Foresight MX allows us to take a proactive approach to maintenance, reducing unscheduled downtime and ensuring our aircraft are always ready to respond.”
The system provides real-time aircraft monitoring and predictive maintenance, supporting HALO-Flight’s commitment to reliability in emergency response. GPMS’s Foresight MX is certified for several HEMS aircraft, including Bell 407, Bell 429, Airbus H125, and Airbus H145.
