Airways Aviation expands Diamond service in Europe and Australia
Gold service centre status was awarded to operations in Italy and Australia, strengthening the company’s global maintenance capabilities.
Airways Aviation Italy and Australia are now Diamond Aircraft and Austro Engine gold service centres.

Airways Aviation Group has signed a service partner agreement with Diamond Aircraft, appointing Airways Aviation Italy (Professione Volare) and Airways Aviation Australia as Diamond Aircraft and Austro Engine gold service centres. The deal, finalised at the Pilot Expo in Brussels, follows the December 2024 appointment of Airways Aviation ESMA’s facility in France as a Gold Diamond service centre.

With this expansion, Airways Aviation strengthens its ability to maintain and service Diamond Aircraft, supporting both its own fleet and external operators. The company logged the second-highest Diamond flight hours globally in 2024.

Founder and chairman Romy Hawatt says: “This agreement marks another significant step in our strategic collaboration with Diamond Aircraft. Our relationship has grown year after year, underpinned by our shared dedication to quality, safety and innovation.”

Diamond Aircraft’s global director of aftersales, Luca Giaquinta, says: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Airways Aviation and recognise its achievements as Europe’s largest owner-operator of Diamond Aircraft.”
