Fly Alliance up to scratch for Wingman status
At Fly Alliance, safety is not just a priority, it is the foundation of everything the team does. Successfully renewing Wyvern Wingman certification is a testament to its commitment to the highest safety standards.

Orlando, Florida-based Part 135 Fly Alliance has renewed its Wyvern Wingman certified operator status through the Flight Leader Program with quarterly coaching by Wyvern. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.

“At Fly Alliance, safety is not just a priority, it is the foundation of everything we do. Successfully renewing our Wyvern Wingman certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the highest safety standards in the industry. This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire team to delivering exceptional service while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. We take immense pride in ensuring that our clients fly with confidence, knowing their safety is our top priority,” says Kevin Wargo, CEO of Fly Alliance.

Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, a review of the company's operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), an internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements, and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

Wyvern celebrates Fly Alliance's achievement of renewing and maintaining Wingman certification. The Flight Leader Program continues to be the industry-leading avenue to assist organisations in their journey of safety excellence. We are proud to see that Fly Alliance's leadership identifies safety as a core value and its team embraces excellence at all levels,” says Andrew Day, Wyvern senior vice president, operations. “This certification highlights Fly Alliance's unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism in the aviation industry.”
