Avflight Corporation has appointed Henry Julicher as senior manager of cargo operations and business development. In this role, he will oversee cargo operations and drive business development efforts to expand Avflight’s services.
Julicher joined Avflight in January, bringing more than 15 years of experience in global cargo operations. Previously, he served as head of sales for Cargobase USA, leading the company’s U.S. market expansion. Before that, he held senior roles at Lufthansa Cargo, managing sales, operations and partnership strategy for the Midwest regional markets.
Avflight vice president of operations Joe Meszaros welcomed the appointment, stating, “His proven leadership and innovative approach in the global cargo sector will be instrumental in advancing our cargo operations.”
Julicher holds an M.S. in international economics and economic policy from Wolfgang von Goethe Universität Frankfurt and a B.A. in economics with a minor in Russian studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also serves as vice-chair and treasurer of the German-American Business Council of Michigan, promoting trade and business development between the U.S. and Germany.
