Boost Systems has received a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) supplemental type certificate (STC) for its complex personnel carrying device system (cPCDS), which is compatible with the already certified Boost human external cargo (HEC) system for the Airbus H125 and AS355. Boost worked with AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H) in Switzerland to achieve this certification.
Derek Thomas, president at Boost Systems, says: “The Boost HEC system for the Airbus H125/AS350/AS355 was EASA certified in 2023 and we received overwhelming support from European operators. Now, in partnership with A&H we offer the complete solution, including the EASA certified complex personnel carrying device system (cPCDS). Working closely with A&H allowed us to offer a cPCDS specifically for our Airbus H125/AS350 HEC system here in Europe.”
Boost's HEC system for the Airbus H125/AS355 was certified by EASA in 2023 and has gained positive feedback from European operators. Boost and A&H now provide a comprehensive solution that includes the certified cPCDS tailored for the Airbus H125 HEC system in Europe, according to Derek Thomas, president of Boost Systems.
The Boost H125 HEC system offers a carrying capacity of 1,100 lb/500 kg, enabling multi-person rescue operations. The provisions kit features quick and easy installation, allowing mission kits to be fitted or removed in minutes. A&H utilised its extensive experience in providing EASA complex PCDS systems for various models to ensure a smooth certification process. The cPCDS is available for direct purchase from AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH.
