Duncan stocks parts for Ontic’s TRAS
The partnership will ensure continued support for legacy TRAS part numbers on Honeywell CF6 and CF34 engines.
The agreement expands TRAS repair and service options for Honeywell CF6 and CF34 engine operators in North America.

In September 2024, Duncan Aviation secured a licensing agreement with Ontic to service, support, exchange and sell specific part numbers for its thrust reverser actuation system (TRAS) product line. Ontic originally acquired the product line from Honeywell in 2023 for production and repair services.

The partnership enables Duncan Aviation’s component accessories unit to support TRAS components for Honeywell CF6 and CF34 engines, used in over 3,000 aircraft. Adam J Payne, senior sales manager at Ontic, says: “Duncan Aviation is a specialist in the business jet MRO market, an area where Ontic is looking to grow. It will help offer repair options and solutions for Ontic's TRAS product lines in North America, extending capabilities and coverage to its customer base from its Lincoln, Nebraska, USA, facility.”

Tim Fidler, Duncan Aviation components business development manager, adds: “We look forward to incorporating our industry-leading customer service when supporting customers' MRO needs alongside Ontic.”
