Jet Aviation expands SAF availability ahead of WEF
The company has secured a new supply of SAF in Basel, and will provide it during the World Economic Forum 2025 in Zurich.
The company will bring SAF to Basel for the first time.

Jet Aviation has signed an agreement with World Fuel Services to supply sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at its Basel location in Switzerland. This makes Basel the 12th Jet Aviation facility globally to provide on-site SAF, with availability beginning immediately for all departing flights, including maintenance and completion redeliveries and test flights.

Jet Aviation was the first company to bring SAF to Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum 2020. Since then, it has also provided an on-site supply in Geneva during EBACE 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The company has now confirmed that it will again provide SAF at its Zurich FBO during the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2025, marking Jet's fourth consecutive year of cooperation with Zurich Airport for SAF availability at the event. The supply will enhance sustainable fuel options for visitors, supporting efforts to reduce the aviation industry's carbon footprint.

Jet Aviation's vice president of FBO services in Europe, Joao Martins, says: “Since we first brought in SAF for WEF 2020, it has been our vision to provide an ongoing supply in Switzerland. I am delighted that we have achieved that today, and I would like to thank our teams in Basel and Zurich, as well as our partners at World Fuel Services and the EuroAirport, for their support in making this a reality.”

In addition to Basel, SAF is also available at sites in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Singapore, Van Nuys, Bozeman, and Scottsdale, with plans to expand to Dallas, Houston, Palm Beach, Bedford, and Teterboro.
