Elite Simulation Solutions, a global provider of advanced flight training solutions, has completed the installation of its PI-135 Pro flight simulator at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in Kuala Lumpur. UTHM selected Elite following an international call for tenders, recognising the simulator's superior quality and features that support both educational aims and research in aviation.

The simulator replicates real-world aircraft handling with dynamic force feedback on rudder pedals and yoke, enabling trainees to perform diverse flight operations, including emergency procedures. It also integrates with the Elite Engineering Pack, allowing real-time flight model adjustments via MATLAB, making it a valuable resource for research and academic exploration.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Elite Simulations in bringing the PI-135 Pro to UTHM,” says Dr. Ahmad Fadly B. Mohd Ali, head of the aviation department at UTHM. “The PI-135 Pro is a powerful tool that not only elevates the quality of our pilot training programmes but also provides a platform for research in aviation safety, flight performance and technology development. Elite's outstanding reputation for high-quality simulators and ongoing support made it the perfect choice for this important investment.”

As the aviation sector evolves, the demand for effective and adaptable training tools remains high. Elite's commitment to innovative solutions ensures institutions like UTHM are equipped to train future aviation professionals and advance research initiatives.
