Blackhawk expands network with Arizona acquisition
The addition strengthens the company's Performance Center network and enhances service offerings for a diverse aircraft fleet.

The Blackhawk Group has acquired the MRO business of Glendale Aero Services (GAS). This marks TBG’s fifth acquisition as the company continues to strengthen its Performance Center network and expand its service capabilities.

The GAS MRO business, based at Glendale Municipal Airport (KGEU) in Arizona, will be rebranded as Blackhawk Performance Center (BPC) Glendale. The facility will continue to service Cirrus SR series, Vision Jet and Cessna aeroplanes. Under the Blackhawk umbrella, the facility will remain a Part 145 certified repair station; authorised Cirrus and Textron service centre; Cirrus Airframe Parachute System services provider; and Garmin dealer, offering advanced avionics installations.

John Fisher, director of maintenance at GAS, who will stay on to lead the BPC-Glendale team, says: "Partnering with The Blackhawk Group is a significant achievement for our business. Our dedication to high quality service and customer-centric operations makes this a natural fit and a mutually beneficial partnership. I'm excited about BPC-Glendale's future and continuing to service the Cirrus and Cessna communities and beyond for years to come."
