Omni Aircraft Maintenance to develop Galileo STC for Learjet 45 line
Omni Aircraft Maintenance will develop an STC for Learjet 45 series aircraft, including the Learjet 40, 45, 70 and 75, for the Gogo Galileo HDX.
Omni president Caleb Benner.

In response to strong demand for Gogo Galileo HDX, Tulsa, Oklahoma-headquartered Part 145 Omni Aircraft Maintenance will develop an STC for Learjet 45 series aircraft, including the Learjet 40, 45, 70 and 75.

Gogo Galileo will provide operators worldwide with global, high-speed inflight internet for every size business aircraft. It will leverage Eutelsat OneWeb’s enterprise-grade Low-Earth-Orbit (LEO) satellite network, designed for mobility to deliver low variability and consistent performance across all routes globally.

“We are excited to partner with Gogo on the Galileo HDX STC for the Learjet 45 series. Being able to provide a global satellite solution to the Learjet community worldwide is a great opportunity for the Omni Aircraft Maintenance team. Come by booth 962 at NBAA-BACE 2024 to speak with one of our team members and to learn more about the latest in satellite connectivity,” says Omni president Caleb Benner.

With its compact size, the HDX delivers fast, low-latency performance across the full breadth of business aviation aircraft worldwide from light jets and turboprops to the largest business jets. Operators can contact Omni Aircraft Maintenance to submit a purchase order for the HDX, which is designed to be an easy upgrade to any Avance system (Avance L3, L5, LX5, SCS). The STC will be a worldwide solution available to all Learjet 45 series aircraft and is expected to be certified under FAA, EASA and TCCA in Canada in 2025. The total addressable market is 726 aircraft with 95 of those already equipped with Avance.

A special promotional rebate of $25,000 is also available for a limited time to current Gogo customers operating a legacy air-to-ground system (ATG 1000, 2000, 4000, 5000) when installing SCS and HDX.

“Omni is a valued Gogo partner and its STC efforts will be instrumental in bringing Gogo Galileo high-speed inflight connectivity to operators globally,” says Dave Salvador, vice president of aftermarket sales for Gogo. “We're thrilled to collaborate with its team on the certification of the Learjet series.”

Omni Aircraft Maintenance experts will share more about Gogo Galileo at booth 962 at NBAA-BAE. Gogo will also have in-person demos of the service available at the static display at AD_325.
