Aero Centers finalises sale of Pilatus service to Skytech
Aero Centers has sold its Pilatus aircraft maintenance business at its Atlanta FBO to Pilatus subsidiary Skytech. Aero Centers will continue to own its Part 145 facility there, maintaining other aircraft brands.

SAR Trilogy Management (SAR-T), the holding company of the Aero Centers portfolio of FBOs, has completed the successful transfer and sale of its maintenance centre related to Pilatus to Skytech. This strategic move ensures the continuation of high-quality Pilatus services under Skytech’s expert management.

Skytech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pilatus Aircraft, will operate from the existing hangar at Dekalb-Peachtree airport (PDK) in Atlanta, Georgia, maintaining the same comprehensive range of services previously offered by Aero Centers. Customers can expect no disruption to their aviation needs.

“We look forward to growing our relationship with Skytech in PDK,” says Geoff Heck, Aero Centers president and chief operating officer. “Pilatus service remains a valuable offering to our customers at our full-service FBO in PDK. Aero Centers will continue to support our clients through our MRO 145 service centre, addressing all non-Pilatus maintenance needs.”

Sanjay Aggarwal, managing director of SAR-T, adds: “We are excited about the enhanced value Skytech will bring to our customers while Aero Centers continues to focus on where it excels; in its FBO, non-Pilatus maintenance, aircraft management and charter business at PDK. Partnering with Skytech, an FAA Diamond Award-winning company, ensures our customers will receive the highest level of maintenance services and support. We look forward to continuing to provide exemplary service for all their aviation needs now and in the future.”

While the maintenance business of Pilatus aircraft transitions to Skytech, Aero Centers will continue to serve the aviation community with its MRO services.
