Honeywell names Metrojet Engineering Clark as ASC for APUs
This agreement expands Honeywell's support footprint for its 36-100, 36-150, RE100 and RE220 auxiliary power units, benefiting customers in the Philippines and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

Honeywell has named Metrojet Engineering (Clark), the Philippines-based MRO station of Hong Kong-based Metrojet, as an officially recognised mechanical service centre (MSC). This agreement expands Honeywell's support footprint for its 36-100, 36-150, RE100 and RE220 auxiliary power units (APU), benefiting regional business and general aviation customers in the Philippines and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

APUs are part of a broad range of Honeywell technologies that are shaping the future of aviation, one of three global megatrends to which Honeywell's portfolio is aligned.

As an authorised mechanical line service centre for Honeywell APUs in the Philippines, Metrojet can offer undisrupted maintenance support, as customers can readily access Honeywell-authorised services closer to home, reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency for operators in the region. This new service station provides a key operational hub for aircraft requiring Honeywell mechanical line maintenance.

Jun Xu, president, Asia Pacific, Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, says: “This authorised service centre helps us add to our robust service and support network in APAC. Honeywell and Metrojet have a strong history of working together to support our customers in the region, and it is exciting to see this relationship expand to provide exemplary services and support to our customers in Philippines and the wider region.”

Metrojet has been the Honeywell MSC in Hong Kong since 2008, and achieving Honeywell MSC status is a proud moment for the Metrojet Engineering Clark team. This partnership underscores our commitment to excellence and innovation in maintenance services. With Honeywell's advanced technology and support, MEC is delivering unparalleled service and reliability to our customers. This collaboration enhances our capabilities and reinforces our dedication to ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in the business aviation industry,” says CEO Gary Dolski.
