2Excel adopts ForeFlight solutions across fleet
Using ForeFlight means 2Excel doesn’t have to print the entire briefing pack, which means significant savings in paper, print toner and admin time, while still meeting the regulatory requirements for flight documentation.

2Excel Aviation has adopted ForeFlight Dispatch across its fleet and Runway Analysis for several of its turboprop aircraft.

2Excel Aviation operates more than 30 aircraft, including two all-business class Boeing 737 Next Gen jets for VIP charter, as well as a wide variety of aircraft dedicated to special missions such as lifesaving and reconnaissance operations.

ForeFlight Dispatch streamlines the flight planning process, acting as a hub integrating external scheduling providers to advanced flight planning tools. The flexible customisations support flight planners by automating routine tasks, improving efficiency and allowing them to focus more on safety. Dispatch is a frictionless communication channel between flight planners and pilots, providing a bidirectional conduit for updates to flight plans and other important information.

2Excel will also begin using ForeFlight Runway Analysis on its fleet of Beechcraft King Air turboprops. Runway Analysis uses all available information to ensure that it conducts take off and landing performance evaluations with accurate and up-to-date data. It uses OEM-supplied aircraft data, available for most business aviation aircraft, as the foundation for calculations. It then pulls in variables such as current weather, weight and balance, route of flight and fuel load to provide an accurate picture based on current conditions.

Operations manager Tom Everitt says: “Switching flight planning and dispatch from three systems onto ForeFlight has not only streamlined how our ground and flight ops teams manage the flight programme, but has also provided some environmental and cost saving benefits.

“All our fleets now use ForeFlight, which means we don’t have to print the entire briefing pack, leading to significant savings in paper, print toner and admin time, while still meeting the regulatory requirements for flight documentation.”

ForeFlight CEO Tim Schuetze adds: “We are thrilled to support 2Excel’s operations. With a fleet that spans from pistons to Boeing 737s, 2Excel’s adoption of more ForeFlight solutions highlights the flexibility and adaptability of our tools. ForeFlight is designed to adapt seamlessly to various aircraft types and operational needs. I am excited to see the positive impact Dispatch and Runway Analysis will have on enhancing 2Excel’s diverse missions.”
