Kansas-based aviation lighting specialist PWI has received FAA PMA approval for its LED cabin lighting systems for the Learjet 35/35A and the Learjet 36/36A. These complete plug-and-play lighting packages eliminate the side effects created by high-voltage fluorescent lights, come with a three year PWI warranty and are ready to install straight out of the box; no aircraft modifications required. Customers can look forward to 100,000 hours of no-maintenance cabin lighting.

The LED system installation reuses the original aircraft lighting wiring, matching the original cabin lighting configuration. 4,000K neutral white colour temperature LEDs are powered by the aircraft-supplied 28 volts. No power inverters are needed.

"There are several hundred dedicated Learjet 35 and 36 owner/operators that are very excited to see continuing support for this aircraft, in production for 20 years, a good run by any measure," says president and CEO Robi Lorik.
