ARGUS celebrates incoming operators
Three Platinum and one Platinum Elite certifications were awarded to operators in February 2024.

Canada-based operator Skyservice Business Aviation has, following a comprehensive audit, received recognition for its exceptional commitment to safety and operational excellence in the form of the Platinum rating from the Aviation Research Group/US (ARGUS).

This marks the ninth consecutive year Skyservice has achieved the rating, which acknowledges exceptional operators who are committed to sustainable safety practices and operation within the business aviation community. Skyservice says safety and service excellence are prioritised and foundational to its values and seamless operations.

US and Malta-headquartered Flexjet, New York-based Ventura Air Services and California-based 24/7 Jet also received Platinum ratings.

Jet Aviation Flight Services is rated Platinum Elite, the highest tier of safety certification for which an operator is required to have operated as Platinum-rated for four years or more and must be able to pass continual inspection programmes with a clean bill of health and safety.

The ARGUS Platinum rating consists of an audit that takes an in-depth look into the quality of documented processes in addition to the strength of the SMS implemented by the operator. Receiving a Platinum rating means the operation was examined over several days by a team of onsite auditors and subsequently completed all corrective actions necessary to meet the standard.
