Downey named chief exec of EBCO Aviation Insurance
Jon Downey's experience in the aviation industry, in VP, president and MD positions for a number of US insurance companies, will play a tremendous role in EBCO's planned growth.

EBCO Aviation Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Titan Aviation Fuels, has appointed of Jon Downey as chief executive officer.

Downey is an experienced leader in the aviation insurance industry. He served as vice president for United States Aviation Underwriters, a role that progressed into senior vice president of operations and head of US aviation for Allianz. Prior to joining EBCO he was the president and managing director of Assured Partners Aerospace.

Downey holds a BSc in aviation maintenance management and an Associate of Science in aviation business administration, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds a private pilot certificate, SEL, LTA and an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic's licence.

"We are pleased to welcome Jon to our team of aviation insurance professionals," says Robbie Stallings, president of Titan Aviation Fuels. "His experience in the aviation industry will play a tremendous role in our planned growth for EBCO."

Terry Britt, based in EBCO's Atlanta office, and Rob Burchard at its Greensboro site will continue to lead EBCO as presidents of the retail and wholesale divisions. Together the EBCO leadership team has over 100 years of aviation insurance experience.

EBCO provides complete coverage for all types of aviation insurance needs. The team includes pilots, former FBO managers and aviation leaders.
