StandardAero completes Winnipeg stand up for PW200 MRO
The PW200 engine line continues to grow, so StandardAero is ramping up and investing to support PW200 operators worldwide. Its new Winnipeg centre of excellence is ready to start service.

StandardAero has completed the stand up of its Pratt & Whitney Canada PW200 helicopter engine MRO capabilities at its Winnipeg, Canada helicopter centre of excellence (COE), including support for a new test cell. The company is in the process of transitioning the test cell from its facility in Dallas, Texas to Winnipeg, an investment of more than $1 million. StandardAero has also ramped up operations with new tooling and resources and received Transport Canada approval last December.

"We're going all-in with our PW200 service capabilities," says Neena Gill, vice president and general manager for StandardAero's Helicopters business unit. "It is an engine line that continues to grow, so we're ramping up and investing to support PW200 operators worldwide.

"StandardAero was the first facility authorised to service PW200 engines through our acquisition of Dallas Airmotive. We are pleased to now bring those capabilities into our Winnipeg operations."
