MD Helicopters sees record orders for 2023
MDH's aggressive campaign to meet with customers, suppliers and prospects face-to-face has paid off; it achieved the nighest number of orders in a year for 2023 since 2008.

MD Helicopters (MDH) achieved record orders for the fiscal year 2023, an increase in demand that resulted in the highest number of annual orders since 2008.

The company credits this success to it significantly improving customer support, increasing investment in direct communications with customers, enhancing manufacturing efficiencies, ensuring in-stock spares availability and maintaining healthy supplier relationships.

In March 2022, MDH entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement with a creditor consortium and filed voluntary petitions for reorganisation under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code. It continued regular operations throughout the sale process.

In addition to last year's Nigerian Federal Government order for 12 aircraft, recent commercial transactions involved MD 530Fs designated for multi-use missions; VIP aircraft sales, featuring an expansion to the Clemens Aviation fleet; procurement by the US Department of Agriculture for agricultural missions; and various utility needs such as those of WCF Aerospace, representing Skydance Helicopters, which specialises in power and utility services.

"This achievement is a testament to our dedicated team and the trust our customers have in us," says vice president, sales and marketing Jason Lindauer. "We have an aggressive campaign underway to meet face-to-face with our customers, suppliers and prospects to gather firsthand feedback and to continue to strengthen relationships. Our commitment to excellence remains steadfast, and we're excited about the opportunities ahead.”
