Smith will use Navy experience to Heli-One's advantage
Colin Smith is delighted to take a new post with Heli-One, where he will lead the execution of its growth strategy. His focus will be on anticipating the market and responding to customer requirements.
Smith will be looking to provide first-class maintenance.

Heli-One, a provider of helicopter maintenance and support services, has appointed Colin Smith as its new head of growth and strategy. Smith will be responsible for development and execution of the Heli-One business strategy to cohesively bring its products to market, support its customers and strategically position it to grow the business.

He has over 30 years of aerospace and defence experience, including time as a US Navy helicopter pilot, test pilot and maintenance officer. Following his military career, he worked for Bell Helicopter and Hendsoldt, leading business development and programme management.
