Mint Turbines has been named a Pratt & Whitney Canada Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF), adding another OEM authorisation to its Stroud, Oklahoma repair station.

The designation covers Pratt & Whitney Canada-approved overhaul work on PT6A and PT6T series engines, following an assessment of Mint Turbines' quality systems, technical capability and regulatory compliance. Pratt & Whitney Canada selects DOFs for their demonstrated ability to deliver OEM-approved maintenance across its network of company-owned and designated service facilities. For operators, the designation means OEM-authorised overhaul support backed by Mint Turbines' fast decision-making, round-the-clock customer support and field service teams that work directly with customers when needed.

The Pratt & Whitney Canada authorisation joins Mint Turbines' existing OEM approvals for General Electric and Ozark Aeroworks, plus Rolls-Royce through sister company Airborne Engines in Canada. Founded in 1981, Mint Turbines provides MRO services for gas turbine engines supporting commercial, government, defence and special-mission operators in more than 40 countries. The company is an FAA/EASA Part 145 repair station with quality management systems certified to AS9100D, AS9110C and ISO 9001:2015.
