CAMP extends P&WC engine monitoring to 2040
Engine health monitoring is a critical aspect of P&WC's pay per hour maintenance programmes. It has added another 15 years to its CAMP contract to cover its growing fleet of engines.

Pratt & Whitney Canada has signed a contract extension with CAMP for its engine health monitoring (EHM) data analysis service through 2040 for all its turbofan, turboshaft and turboprop engines. CAMP, which has provided its service to P&WC since 2010, currently provides EHM data analysis to 25,000 P&WC engines in service.

“Engine health monitoring is a critical aspect of our pay per hour maintenance programmes, including our Eagle Service Plan and Fleet Management Program,” says vice president, customer service Irene Makris. “CAMP is the largest engine health monitoring service provider in the world and is a key strategic collaborator in our efforts to drive continuous innovation in engine health monitoring for our growing fleet of engines and evolving customer needs.”

P&WC's Eagle Service Plan (ESP) maintenance programme delivers enhanced asset value, availability and performance, covering scheduled and unscheduled engine maintenance. The Fleet Management Program (FMP) programme helps fleet operators lock in lower operating costs and simplified engine maintenance management. Both programmes are supported by CAMP's reliable and timely EHM services, helping to optimise engine maintenance and the overall customer experience. EHM services also promote the connectivity of the overall flying fleet of P&WC engines, a key tool in helping increase fleet reliability.

Every month, CAMP rapidly analyses data from thousands of P&WC engines. P&WC works closely with CAMP to optimise the engine-analytic capabilities provided to P&WC customers. With this collaboration, the strengths of both companies are brought to bear. CAMP's portal and health monitoring expertise is combined with P&WC's analytics, connectivity and engine capabilities. This will drive and accelerate innovations for P&WC's customer portal, mobility services and analytics using cloud- and machine-learning technologies to optimise collaboration and customer outcomes.
