Incoming Elliott COO Makowski excited to join
Makowski spent over 25 years with Delta Air Lines in progressive roles focused within avionics; he also spent 10 years with NetJets in operational leadership roles, standing him in good stead for his new position at Elliott.

Elliott Aviation has added Dave Makowski to the team as chief operating officer. The position will focus on driving executional excellence, efficiency and profitability across all five of its MRO locations.

“With its reputation and long-standing history in the industry, I am excited to join the Elliott team,” he notes, adding that he is ready to begin the role by learning more about the organisation and then executing the planned expansion of maintenance capabilities while enhancing customer experience.

With a history of success in the business aviation industry, Makowski brings to Elliott Aviation experience in avionics, operational execution and maintenance management. He has a Bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Makowski spent over 25 years with Delta Air Lines in progressive roles focused within avionics; he also spent 10 years with NetJets in operational leadership roles. Makowski's most recent role was with Wheels Up as senior vice president, maintenance management.
