Aerotec flight school in Cuatro Vientos airport in Madrid, has increased its simulator fleet with an entrol en-1000x FNPT II. This unit joins the entrol A32 FNPT II MCC simulator Aerotec already has in its facilities, offering a broader portfolio of simulators and increasing the possibilities for its trainees.

The purchased device is equipped with the MEP analogue and MEP G1000 configurations to facilitate the transition to the real aircraft of the students. It will also use the one 75 inch TV visual system, reducing the simulator's footprint and increasing the display's clarity.

As additional options, this device will be equipped with an iPad with IOS remote control and ForeFlight integrated and two uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units to be able to protect the simulator in case of electrical failure.

Tomás Marqués, founder and president of Aerotec says: “We have trusted entrol again to update our simulator fleet due to the great experience we have had with it these past six years that we have been operating its entrol A32. entrol has proven to be a great manufacturer in the industry, together with the great post-sales service it offers, which is far superior to its competitors, paying attention to the needs of our flight school and adjusting its simulator at the same time the use and legislation have been changing.”

The simulator is already installed at Aerotec's base and awaiting certification as an FNPT II by AESA, the Spanish civil aviation authority. The purchase forms part of Aerotec's strategy to modernise its material resources on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.
