Flight Data Systems' readouts solution for UK CAA and EASA-compliant flight data and cockpit voice recorder analysis has been selected by Avionicare East Africa, an avionics maintenance and modification solution provider based at Wilson airport in Nairobi, Kenya.

“We are proud to partner with a company that has true end-to-end flight data expertise,” says Avionicare head of planning Alex Kibue. “With Flight Data Systems we can guarantee that our partners and customers will receive in depth, accurate and fully managed readout analysis services for their flight data and cockpit voice recorders, ensuring timely compliance with custom database creation capabilities when needed.”

Flight Data Systems, which carries out FDR, CVR and CVR datalink messaging reports under its EASA and UK CAA 145 approvals, delivers more than 3,500 readouts per year for more than 300 customers worldwide. With a turnaround time (TAT) of five days and expedited 24 hour aircraft on ground (AOG) TAT, Flight Data Systems' superior customer service and more than 440 in-house databases covering fixed wing and rotorcraft airframes position it as a leading option for operators seeking compliance and safety.

“We are excited to announce this partnership with Avionicare East Africa, a company approved by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority as an AMO to provide avionics solutions to air operators within Kenya, as well as in East and Central Africa,” says FDS readout services manager Bob Whetsell. “It was an easy decision to work with a leading entity with a passion for both aviation and the local economy. We look forward to supporting Avionicare in the days to come.”
