Switzerland-based eVTOL developer Dufour Aerospace has successfully completed a Series B investment from Vista Global Holding (Vista), global private aviation group and parent of the VistaJet and XO brands, further supporting the continued development of sustainable aviation technologies.

In addition to Vista, the existing investors and two new investors participated in the funding round. Vista's investment and deep industry experience provide valuable support in expanding the considerable potential of Dufour's innovative tilt-wing technologies and aerospace products. This technology will be applied in Dufour's unmanned Aero2 aircraft and its flagship manned Aero3 aircraft.

Dufour CEO Thomas Pfammatter says: "We are delighted this financing round was led by Vista, an esteemed global leader in private aviation. Its investment is an important milestone in our journey. It recognises the importance of developing successful products and solutions to support the future of hybrid-electric tilt-wing aircraft."

Vista founder and chairman Thomas Flohr adds: "We are looking forward to supporting the team at Dufour in advancing their sustainable aviation solutions with huge potential to supplement Vista's global service network in the future. It is an exciting time for Dufour, and this investment is in line with our strategy of supporting environmental air mobility solutions, which further reiterates our commitment to ensuring a greener future for our industry."
