Key appointment continues JSSI innovation and growth
Yorgancigil's appointment underlines the growing focus JSSI places on utilising its 30+ years of data to anticipate maintenance requirements, solve supply chain constraints and enhance MRO and parts availability.

Jet Support Services, Inc (JSSI) has named Serdar Yorgancigil chief information officer, responsible for overseeing the data and technology efforts of the company's business aviation maintenance support and financial tools.

JSSI supports 20 per cent of the global business jet fleet, with more than 5,000 aircraft utilising its maintenance programmes and tracking software while managing more than 10,000 maintenance events each year across most business aircraft makes and models. Yorgancigil will lead efforts to leverage this unmatched combination of maintenance data to further drive efficiencies for JSSI's customers and provide cost transparency to operators.

Yorgancigil's appointment underlines the growing focus JSSI places on utilising its more than 30 years of maintenance data. Through seamless technology integration, customers will benefit from JSSI's scale and aggregated data to anticipate maintenance requirements, solve supply chain constraints and enhance MRO and parts availability.

“I am excited to have Serdar join us as chief information officer. His proven track record of leadership and transformation, alongside his experience in harnessing technology to drive efficiency, visibility and accuracy will play a critical role in the future of JSSI,” says CEO Neil Book.

Yorgancigil brings more than 20 years of aviation and technology experience to the role, having previously worked for AAR Corp, an independent provider of aviation services to commercial and government customers around the globe. He also held various senior technology roles during his tenure, including leading application development, data management and integration teams as senior vice president of digital enablement.
