UK-based charter and aircraft management company Voluxis has this month been awarded a San Marino aircraft operator certificate and brought on its first aircraft, with the intention of more to follow.

The company's first aircraft on the AOC is an ultra-long range jet that will be based at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai World Central, UAE. The type will be confirmed soon.

CEO Andrew BoxerMissen says: “The granting of our San Marino AOC is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the high standards and capabilities that Voluxis possesses, maintaining two simultaneous commercial operations. While our UK entity will continue to offer the highest standard of concierge style aircraft management, our new San Marino AOC will allow expansion into the global market, targeting long range aircraft for both private and commercial operations. The new aircraft is the first of what we hope will be several to be based outside the UK.

“I am hugely proud of the Voluxis team for achieving this milestone, which is another major step forward in the continuing success of Voluxis.”

Senior commercial director Gavin Copus adds: “The San Marino AOC provides our clients with greater choice when looking to optimise utilisation of their assets. Our clients today require global coverage, and we have already seen interest in this new AOC from customers across the Middle East and Asia.”
